On Saturday, Oct 3rd, I will be speaking at the 2015 St. John’s Hospital Breast Symposium on the Genetics of Breast Cancer. The study and understanding of genetics is an amazing venture as it points to our Creator and we, His unique creation.
Katie meets with Joni
In late November 2014, I had the opportunity to tour the Joni and Friends Disability Center and meet Joni Eareckson Tada. Joni was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and underwent chemotherapy for her treatment. Fortunately, she remains cancer free. After I completed Finding Christ in Cancer, Joni graciously provided a endorsement for the book. I was so blessed to meet her and hear her testimony. The Lord has used her to bless many people and the Joni and Friends Center is truly an amazing ministry (http://www.joniandfriends.org/).
